John Terence Ononuju To Join 2023 Nigeria's Presidential Race In 2022


 

John Terence Ononuju, 2019 Federal House of Representatives Candidate for Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency of Imo State, National Chairman of Nigeria Political Parties Candidates Forum, Founder of Worldwide Development Initiative and Founder of other numerous local and international organizations around the globe, will officially declare in 2022, his interest for the 2023 Nigerian Presidential race.

Ononuju who hails from Ochii, Ogwa in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo state of Nigeria, said he possesses the magic wand to actualize the best for the country, if he is elected President in 2023.

He said the time has come for youths to take over the mantle of leadership in Nigeria, while the elders are expected to give maximum support to enable them(Youths) move the country forward in the best interest of the entire citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

According to him, his economic plans would be geared towards harnessing the potentials of the Country, promising to make good use of the country’s natural resources and also focus on Agriculture & Technology in boosting the economy of the country. He said this will encourage indigenous and foreign investors to come to Nigeria and contribute to its development.

As part of his plans to encourage youths empowerment, he promised to create a unique platform that will encourage skilled and unskilled youths, pointing out that it will go a long way in making over 8,000,000 jobless Nigerian youths independent and employers of labour.

According to him, his empowerment scheme will also extend to Nigerian men and women who are either idle or living below an annual income of N100,000.He promised to focus his attention on quality education,employment of more youths into the civil service, provision of good drinking water, housing, quality healthcare services, steady power supply, construction of quality roads, regular payment of workers salaries and pensions, security of lives and property, which he will encourage the 36 states Governors of Nigeria to also implement in their various states, with full support from the Federal Government.

Ononuju frowned at the deplorable state of numerous projects, which have been abandoned for years, by the previous administrations.He promised to do his best in completing the abandoned projects, which are slowing the development of the country and also promises to add more developmental projects, which will be completed before he leaves office.Some of these new projects include at least one industry in each of the 36 states of Nigeria, including F.C.T Abuja, which will be of international standard, renovation and upgrade of Sports Stadium in the country to international standard, promising to build six additional international sports stadium in each of the six geopolitical zones which will not only boost sporting activities, but also attract national & international sporting events into the country.

In the area of commerce, he promised to build 37 international markets to be situated in the 36 states of the country, including F.C.T Abuja, which according to him will make Nigeria the envy of other African countries and boost economic activities in the country.

Similarly, promotion of eCommerce in Nigeria according to him, will triple the revenue generated from crude oil, Agriculture and other internally generated revenues since the inception of Nigeria, which will place Nigeria among the 10 richest countries of the world.

He promised establishing international standard refineries at least one in each of the six geo-political zones of the country, among other numerous projects which will take Nigeria to the next level of development, when completed.

Ononuju urged all the political parties fielding candidates in the Presidential elections, especially the All Progressive Congress, APC, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, to rise above party interests for peace, unity and progress of Nigeria.

He further advised Nigerian politicians not to see the 2023 presidential election as a do or die affair, urging his fellow youths to avoid being used as instruments of thuggery and violence before and after the 2023 general elections in Nigeria.
